Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Signal shoot service ("Service"). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of Signal shoot.

2. Description of Service

Signal shoot is a SaaS platform that helps app developers collect, organize, and act on user feedback. The Service provides an API endpoint for receiving feedback from your applications and a dashboard for managing that feedback.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
• You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
• One person or legal entity may maintain no more than one free account.

4. Data Ownership and Processing

Your Data

You retain all ownership rights to the data you submit to the Service, including feedback content, metadata, and any information collected from your end users. We do not claim ownership of your data.

Our Role

We act as a data processor on your behalf. You are the data controllerresponsible for ensuring you have the appropriate legal basis and consent to collect feedback data from your end users, which may include personally identifiable information (PII).

Data Export

You may export all of your data at any time in JSON or CSV format through the Service dashboard or API.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Resell access to the Service without our written consent.

6. Service Scope and Input Handling

The Service accepts feedback submissions via the Ingest API. The type, channel, and metadata fields accept any valid string or JSON value. The Service validates the format of requests (required fields, character limits) but does not validate the semantic meaning or appropriateness of the values submitted. Data is stored and displayed as-is. You are responsible for defining and managing the values your application sends, and for ensuring submitted content complies with applicable laws and your own terms of service with your end users.

7. Pricing and Payment

• The Service offers free and paid plans as described on our pricing page.
• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice.
• Refunds are provided at our discretion for billing errors or service outages.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and will make reasonable efforts to maintain and support it, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

• You can delete your account from the Account page in the dashboard. Deletion is immediate and permanent — all data within Signal shoot is removed instantly. Please download your data before deleting. Stripe billing records are retained by Stripe per their retention policy.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms with reasonable notice.
• Before deleting your account, please use the data download feature to export your data.

11. Service Discontinuation

If we decide to discontinue the Service, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and a reasonable opportunity for you to export your data before shutdown.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tokyo, Japan.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. No Waiver

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

16. Survival

Sections 4 (Data Ownership), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 13 (Governing Law), and this section shall survive termination of these Terms.
